Fawn is a motivational speaker and best-selling author of five books. If you expect the worst, you will get it. If you fall down seven times, get up eight. Persevere – you never know how close you are to turning the corner until you turn it.

www.fawngermer.com Jerry spoke of the Family Visitation. It is a house on Oak St in Brooksville that is a part of Mid Florida Community Services. It provides a safe, nurturing homelike environment in which children visit with their parents, siblings and other family members when restricted by Court action. Wiley and his Committee are working very hard with many committee meetings and much preparation. Relay for Life is explained here by Wiley, Jim, Robert, Anne, and Brande. Anne McCloud introduced Sam Shrieves - President of Capital City Bank.. He had every Rotarian take out a one dollar bill. This bill first came off the presses in 1957 in its present design.
Jim is the new Executive Director of the facility, and introduced himself as being in the business as a manager of enterprises. For the first time, the camp has a foundation and grants seeker. Only Jim and one maintenance person are full time employees. Scott Taylor is a Family and Consumer Sciences agent with UF and is Hernando Co. Extension agent. He grew up on a dairy farm, served in the USAF, and has a degree in aeronautical engineering. He presented a lively talk about saving energy and money. The Chile GSE Team presented a well organized and informative visual program about their country and their occupations and families. Bryan Blavett is the newly appointed Hernando County School Superintendent. He has 40 years of experience in the field of education in Maryland, North Carolina and Kentucky. He is also a lawyer, an avid Rotarian and earned his Paul Harris Fellow in 2008. Two Hernando High School students were chosen to attend Students for Tomorrow’s Leaders (S4TL) at Florida Southern college. Gebria Booker is 16 and a junior who is in dual enrollment with three classes at PHCC. Hailey Royal is 16 and a junior at HHS. She is in dual enrollment at PHCC.
Steve Wilson told us that while unemployment figures in Hernando County have dropped slightly the past month, we continue to have the worst rates in the state. The final program, which was reviewed by Nathan Stevens, is the “OJT” Program, which provides funding for 50% on an individual’s salary for as many new hires as a company brings on for the first 12 weeks of employment. Sandra Miniere is a leadership coach, and she says she “coaches from the inside out.” She strives to effect positive changes in the productivity of the people she talks to. She talked from a program called “Five Reasons You don’t accomplish your goals.” Hailey Royal opened by saying “Most of you remember me getting up here last time and how much she does not like talking in front of people. I’m happy to say that S4TL made me come out of my shell.” She looked forward to coming back. Gebria Booker highlighted personal qualities, and how they related to her. She started with Character: This was her most powerful leadership attribute, which she built through trials and tribulations.
FAS3 - This is an association of engineers, geologists, hydrologists and other scientists who are experts on sinkholes. They have established a level of standards on the causes and engineered repair of sinkholes in Florida.
